The Hands Behind the Mission
Meet the Circle Seven Ranch Family
Circle Seven Ranch is carried forward by people who believe faith should be lived, history should be remembered, and service should leave something worth passing on. Each person brings a different calling, trade, and story, but all serve the same mission.
Pull up a chair by the fire and meet the folks who make this place more than a ranch. They make it a ministry.

Buck Buchanan
Ranch Boss
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Born under Oklahoma skies of Choctaw and Scottish ancestry and raised between the quiet hollers of Appalachia and the wide-open ranges of Texas, Buck Buchanan is a man shaped by land, legacy, and calling. From a young age, he felt the pull of the trail, the cowboy life, not just in dust and leather, but in the values it upholds: grit, grace, and doing right by others.
At eighteen, Buck answered a deeper call to serve, walking a trail that led through pastoral ministry, international missions, and nonprofit work. Whether on the mission field or around a campfire, he’s tried to live steady, speak plain, and lead with a servant’s heart.
Through it all, he’s been riding alongside his best friend and the love of his life, Kellie Buchanan. Her strength, wisdom, and unwavering support have been his greatest blessing and the steady hand behind much of what they’ve built together.
Circle Seven Ranch is the fruit of their shared journey, a place where history is kept alive, stories are passed down, and the spirit of the West still rides strong. As Ranch Boss, Buck leads with quiet purpose, believing in hard work, honest words, and leaving something worth passing on.

Kellie Buchanan
Boss Lady
Outreach and Engagement Coordinator
Born in Huntington, West Virginia, Kellie has always carried the spirit of an adventurer, drawn to travel, people, and the stories that shape them. With a deep love for Christ and a light that shines wherever she goes, she approaches life with compassion and purpose. Appalachia will always be home in her heart, but her affection for Texas runs just as deep.
Kellie earned her RN degree and works in the medical field, where she finds joy in caring for those who need it most. Her love of service flows naturally into her role at Circle Seven Ranch, where she serves as Boss Lady and Outreach & Engagement Coordinator. She manages communication with churches, partners, and community organizations, while stepping in wherever she’s needed, from running booths to supporting online retail.
Outside her work, Kellie’s heart is anchored in her husband and best friend, Buck. Their dogs are her world, and her compassion extends to all of God’s four-legged creatures large and small. Steady, adventurous, and full of heart, she helps keep the ranch rooted in faith, service, and hospitality wherever the trail leads.

Her work reflects a deep appreciation for winding back roads, weathered barns, mountain communities, and the enduring spirit of the people who call them home.

As a Trailblazer with Circle Seven Ranch, Amber helps preserve and celebrate the heritage, culture, and natural beauty that inspire our mission. Through photography, creative writing, community engagement, and educational outreach, she encourages others to slow down, appreciate where they have come from, and carry those stories forward for the next generation.
